As BrowserSync continues to grow in popularity (nearly 18,000 downloads in the last 30 days!) we are also seeing a rise in the number of other projects that are using it - the most recent one being the Web Starter Kit.
It’s a downloadable package that includes the necessary boilerplate and tooling that front-end developers need to develop websites that work well across multiple screen sizes and devices.
Benefits of using BrowserSync
Providing boilerplate HTML and CSS (complete with a style guide) is certainly very helpful, but by incorporating BrowserSync into the tool chain, the development experience is massively improved.
Users of the Web Starter Kit will now benefit from having a bundled development server that has Cross-Device Synchronisation and Live Browser Reloading built in – no extra configuration needed.
Give it a try

We’ve also written about using BrowserSync before in Frontend automation with Grunt, Sass + BrowserSync and you can find even more information on the projects homepage http://www.browsersync.io/
Built on Open Source.
We are extremely proud that our project is being recognised as a great solution to some of the challenges that web developers are facing today. BrowserSync was created by front-end developers for front-end developers and it’s only been possible because of other amazing Open Source projects.
This is why BrowserSync is completely FREE to use and will continue to be.
