2017 has been another great year for JH, we’ve surpassed every goal we set at the start, and we kept moving. It’s been busy, in the best way possible, exciting and we’re carrying all that momentum forward into 2018.
We’re completing 2017 with a record 40% growth, adding twelve new people to our team and cementing our position as a leading Magento Enterprise Solution Partner. All of this has been achieved organically, and the strength of the team moving together toward the same goals has been reflected in this result.
We attended Magento Imagine, Magento’s flagship conference, with wide eyes and slight naivety amongst us for the wonders and sights of Las Vegas. Celebrations were aplenty as we came home with the award for Best Mobile Experience for our work on Perch & Parrow. It’s the second year in a row we’ve won this category, something that reflects how much work our design and front-end development teams put into keeping us ahead of the trend of the moment that we see others focus toward. We’ll be at Magento Imagine again in 2018, so if you’re going too reach out and we’ll catch-up.
Our team also saw their work on our Open Source project Browsersync surpass itself even further, and continue to be a cemented standard within the industry for responsive website testing. As of this post, we’re averaging fifteen million downloads a year, a truly staggering number. Browsersync was started by seeing a need to cut down unnecessary repetition in testing for our clients and projects, and we’re glad to hear it’s helping so many do the same across the globe.
The work we’re known for within the community has also gone from strength to strength in 2017. With our monthly event Design Exchange Nottingham seeing record numbers turning out, and speakers from the likes of Monzo, Google, and Sky, all talking and offering vast inspiration for our attendees. We continue to fund the event at our own cost, and there’s a ton planned to go even further in 2018. Next year also sees the start of our sponsorship of Women in Tech Notts, and we couldn’t be more proud to be a part of promoting this crucial issue in our industry.
I want to say an enormous thank you to all our clients, partners, friends of JH and the team itself. We form a relationship together that is truly unique, and this empowers us in our goals as we move forward, and look toward the future successes of 2018.
