Team JH take to Stockholm for Meet Magento Sweden 2018

Organised by the wonderful team at Nordic Web, Meet Magento Sweden 2018 (#MM18SE) is set to be HUGE this year. With over 400 attendees, and a jam-packed day full of insightful talks and networking, we’re looking forward to reconnecting with the Magento ecosystem and meeting new merchants, solution partners, and tech partners from all over Europe and the globe.

As well as attending the conference, we’re also proud to be sponsors of the event too. We absolutely love Meet Magento events, what they stand for, and what they mean to the community as a whole – and we’re huge fans of the Nordics too!

We know from experience about the community-spirit and energy that Meet Magento conferences possess. These unique events offer up the perfect opportunity to share knowledge and experiences, establish new contacts, talk about new and current trends, and reconnect with old friends. There’s nothing quite like them.

Someone that knows first-hand about the connections made at Meet Magento events is our Senior Customer Success Manager, Rabia Qureshi. Rabia was part of the organisation team behind the Meet Magento UK ‘Merchants Event’ earlier this year, and has a passion to see merchants reach digital success. Here’s what Rabia is looking forward to this year at Meet Magento Sweden:

“I have been visiting the nordics for several years now and have made many friends there – it’s almost become a second home to me! I’m looking forward to catching up with old faces, finding out what the latest news in eCommerce is over there, and building new friendships along the way”

But what we’re most looking forward to this year at Meet Magento Sweden will be happening from 2pm on the Technical Track – the panel “State of Mobile Experiences with PWA”! We’ll all be cheering along back at home, as our CEO Jamie Huskisson will be joining the stage to share his experience and knowledge on Progressive Web Apps.

Jamie Huskisson - MM18SE

Jamie will be joined by no other than Eric Erway, Product Manager of PWA Studio at Magento Commerce an Adobe Company, and the brilliant Nilay Oza, CEO and Founder of Site Search Technology company, Klevu. Together, they’re set on answering some of the key PWA questions and sharing their expertise with the crowd:

  • What are the biggest changes in mobile experiences over the past year?
  • When should you consider moving to PWA as a partner or developer?
  • How does this change your business?

Following our hat-trick of Magento Imagine Awards for Excellence in Mobile Experience, we’ve never been more passionate about building and designing responsive sites, and we’re continuing to push new and emerging technologies in order to achieve the best possible results for our clients. Which is why we’re incredibly excited to hear, and discuss, all the latest on PWA’s this week at Meet Magento Sweden – now more than ever.

Besides speaking at the event, Jamie is looking forward to being present at another Meet Magento event this year:

“I’ve always loved the Nordics, and Sweden is no different. I’m looking forward to spending some time in the country and meeting up with local contacts. For the conference itself, I’m excited to see how another excellent Meet Magento organiser puts on a show and take some lessons back home with us.”

As well as looking forward to the social benefits this event has to offer, Jamie is also excited to hear from Eric Erway in particular, with his Main Track talk on “Take a Chance on PWA: Why It’s Time For Progressive Web Apps”.

Are you attending Meet Magento Sweden too? Don’t be shy, we’re always open to meet new people and get those key conversations going. Book in with us using our online form, and we can arrange for a convenient time to talk.

And if you’re local to Sweden – we can’t wait to explore your home! If you have any recommendations on what to do, where to eat, or what to see, in the area whilst we’re there, please do let us know on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram

Vi ses där (see you there!)
