Our top 5 favourite Christmas campaigns from eCommerce in 2022!
Now trees are being packed away and wrapping paper is being recycled, we’re already feeling nostalgic for the festive season. It’s a hectic time for those working in eCommerce! A lot of time is poured into those all important Christmas campaigns.
Since we’re missing Christmas, we’d thought we’d have a look back on some of our favourite campaigns from the past few months.
Bargain Max
One from our clients! Bargain Max are the UK’s no.1 for cheap toys and games, offering a huge range of toys for children of all ages.
For their Christmas campaign, they compiled a list of the most wanted toys of the season. Having the list featured as a hero banner grabs your attention straight away – and is the perfect signpost to access the catalogue as soon as you visit the website. The catalogue featured filters for a variety of age and price ranges – making it even easier to grab the perfect gift!
Noah’s Box
This Christmas campaign from Noah’s Box comes in the form of an email newsletter. The company, who offer starter kits for pretty much anything you could want from macrame to kitchen sets, sent out a gift guide in the lead up to Christmas.
The guide showed various kits on offer, stocking fillers and even a quiz where you could find what the perfect gift would be. Not only that – it also offered a discount. The email came with 20% off on all craft kits and free next day delivery.
Crafters Companion
Another from one of our clients. Crafters ran a ‘12 Days of Craftmas’ this year where they offered free gifts, festive offers and more for 12 days throughout December. They revealed a new offer every day, with each only lasting 24 hours. This was a great way to get shoppers returning to the site daily, encouraging customer loyalty.
Lucy & Yak
Lucy and Yak provided their customers with a gift guide featuring personalised guides from their CEO, shop assistants and community members. Each guide caters for different aesthetics, meaning shoppers had a wide variety of clothing to choose from – created from people who know the brand best. They paired this guide with a ‘Yak Gifts’ catalogue, offering that extra helping hand if customers were still stuck!
Find Me A Gift
The perfect website for when you need to get a gift for your best friend’s partner or office secret Santa, Find Me A Gift provided shoppers with a gift finder quiz this Christmas.
The short, three question pop-up appeared as soon as you landed on their homepage. Questions included: What kind of gift are you looking for? Who is it for? How much do you want to spend? It narrowed the selection down and took away the pain of trolling through pages and pages of product for the customer.
