How do we spend our wellness funds?

A key part of our wellness programme is to provide staff with the opportunity to invest in their own wellbeing. We do this by providing all our employees with a £200 wellness fund each year. The money can be used in any way that helps people live better, happier and healthier lives. We’ve shared some of the ways we’ve spent our wellness funds below!

Emma – Pottery Classes

Emma used her wellness fund this year to book some pottery classes. It’s time in her week where she can switch off and focus on making something. She’s a self-proclaimed pro by now, and even has plans to start teaching her friends!

Clair – Paddle Boarding Lessons

Clair booked some paddle boarding lessons in. Not only is paddle boarding a different (more exciting!) way of exercising – but it is also a great way to relax and meditate. We’re not entirely sure how she manages to keep balance and focus, but kudos to you – Clair!

Oliver – Sports Gear

Oliver invested in some new basketball kicks for training and playing games. LeBron who?

Yunus – Gym Membership

This is a popular option among the team. Yunus opted for a gym and pool membership this year – although he’s the first to admit that he could use it more often!

Joyce – Gaming Chair

Joyce decided to treat herself to a new gaming chair with lumbar support. It helps ease back pain, looks very comfortable AND it can spin around and around and around and around.

We all use our wellness funds in different ways – but for the same reason. Some of us go for pottery classes, some get gym memberships; it’s £200 to spend on whatever is going to make us feel good.
